SOKO API Fair Use Policy

Effective date: 19 June 2026. Version: 1.0.

1. Purpose

The SOKO API is provided subject to fair use, technical safeguards, rate limits and resource limits designed to protect platform stability and reliable service for all customers.

2. Plan approach

API access may vary by plan. Studio and Pro may include limited fair use. Enterprise may include higher or custom limits where stated in an Order Form.

3. Restricted behaviour

Customers must not ignore rate-limit responses, run aggressive polling, bulk scrape data, parallelise requests in a destabilising way, create retry storms or use the API in a way that threatens stability, security, legal compliance or other customers.

4. SOKO rights

SOKO may throttle, rate-limit, suspend, disable API tokens, require technical changes or temporarily block traffic where API usage creates risk.

5. Customer obligations

Customers should use backoff, caching, idempotency, pagination and reasonable request patterns. Large migrations, exports or imports should be coordinated with SOKO in advance.

6. SLA exclusion

Service degradation caused by customer API usage, scripts, automations, retries, bulk jobs, aggressive polling, customer integrations or failure to follow this policy is excluded from any SLA or service credit.
